I went from suzuki sv650 to this machine, because the 650 was sluggish. It also depends on your ability to control a "Master of Torque". Your ability to control a MT is in your right hand, you have to know what you are doing.

I've ridden both. I have a 2022 Versys 1000 SE LT. I'd love to have both, but I'm on single-track or offroad maybe 10% of the time I'm riding - and that's after I've ridden 8 hours to get to SW Texas. I've dropped put Versys into "rain" mode and ridden gravel for miles. No issues. LOVED the Twin - it fit me as good or better than my Versys (I'm 6ft tall, 210lbs) - but Versys offers the cruise control, heated grips, changeable windscreen, and will chew up the miles quickly. It's just two great bikes for two different uses with about a 50% overlap in capabilities. Be honest with yourself and decide just how much off-road you'll be riding and make your decision.

Hi Midnight Rider, the problem with the new Triumphs is their too short and fragile harness. The electronics of the elements handset is also faulty. I had the T100 and the T120, both had the same problems. Passed the 2 years of guarantee, the after-sales service is catastrophic!
